- Do I have to sign up for the full marathon?
- No, this year you can sign up for either the full marathon or just the
10k.
- How much is registration?
- The registration fee is $100.00 for the marathon or $75 for the 10k.. Note that you have to raise at least
$1000 in support in addition to the registration fee.

- Sunday, October 26, 2008
- When does Feet for FED training begin?
- Saturday, June 7, 2008 (marathon)
Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008 (10k)
- How much money do I have to raise?
- $1,000 is the required minimum.

- What if I’ve never run before?
- We welcome runners of all levels from beginners to veteran marathoners.
Working with our coach, Don Dechow (
I_Run26@yahoo.com),
you will either train in a straight run format (taught to veteran runners)
or learn a combination run/walk technique called the Galloway method. Either
way, we will help you cross the finish line injury free.

- Can you tell me more about the training program?
- We have a coach, Don Dechow (
I_Run26@yahoo.com),
who will lead group runs (for the marathon) every Saturday morning along the W&OD Trail in
Virginia and once a month on the National Mall in Washington, DC. We are
also working on organizing group runs in Maryland. The Saturday runs start
on June 7 and continues until the marathon in October. The training for the
10k will start on September 6 and continue every Saturday until the marathon
in October. You are not required
to attend the runs; they are available for your own benefit but they are
helpful training tool. We will also have informational workshops on fund
raising, nutrition, and running shoes. Benefits to team members also
include: a summer picnic, pre-marathon pasta party, and awards party. Please

Some of these are 2007 specific but
2008 is coming soon.
